"Looking Back" was formed to help those looking for family history. If you are blocked by a 'brickwall' in your research or are starting from the beginning for a Family Search, we can help you, as Genealogy can be confusing? We at "Looking Back" have been researching in Genealogy with a combined effort of 20 years and have become adept at identifying and following the clues that may lead to the answers you need to complete your tree.

As professionals, we will present the known facts, with supporting information, by established practices. The goal of "Looking Back" is to give answers to the old age genealogy question of "Who am I?".  


My area of expertise is French-Canadian from Pre New France thru today, especially in and around the Great Lakes.


We also have access to records from the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula of Virginia. And we have access to the Library of Virginia, the Library of Congress and National Archives. We can access family histories and stories in local libraries, historical societies and locate graves.


We can also discuss and research other inquiries on Genealogy and look forward to helping you to reach your goals.
